Tomasz Puton
I’m a PhD student at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań. I’ve been doing my research in structural bioinformatics of RNA since late 2007. However before I started my career in bioinformatics, I was conducting experiments on human and murine cell lines and investigating the process of apoptosis induced by bacteria. Although the change from wet to dry lab was not easy, it turned out to be an apt decision. I managed to learn lots of new things, including Python and feel very comfortable programming right now. I want to continue developing my programming skills.
Since January 2011 I’ve benn working for VitaInSilica - an innovative start-up company providing bioinformatics support for academia & business.
